Implant posts are therefore placed on the anterior area where there is normally sufficient bone. 2 to 4 dental implant posts with a locator is normally placed to hold a removable implant denture in place. The number of implants recommended by our implantologist varies with your bone, expected outcome and bite. Generally, lower jaws require a minimum of 2 implants to hold dentures. Whereas upper jaw usually take 4 implants to hold overdentures. Implant supported dentures is also affordable as it does not require as many dental implants as full implant bridges. A minimum of 2 implants on lower jaw and 4 implants upper jaw can hold overdentures in place.
